The Origin
Singulartrips started with Patrícia's passion for Portuguese food, creating gastronomic and wine tours to show the world the incredible flavors and riches of her country, Portuguese cuisine, Portuguese wines and all the amazing Portuguese flavors, as well as its people.
Patrícia's interest in showing her country more and more grew, she toured Portugal widely, starting to progressively expand her offer of experiences and creating itineraries throughout the country, including the islands of Madeira and the Azores, based on extensive research, contacting with local producers and guides, with the aim of offering each client the luxury of exclusivity, provided by unique and personalized experiences.
The Logo
Our logo reflects our mission based on two of the most authentic Portuguese symbols: the Rooster of Barcelos and the Heart of Viana.
Based on the legend, the Galo de Barcelos represents wisdom, honesty and simplicity. It is believed to bring good luck to those who proudly display the rooster in their lives, so here it is!
On the other hand, the Heart of Viana, also from the Minho Region, North of Portugal, its symbol represents unlimited Portuguese love.

Patrícia is passionate about her origins: she was born in Lisbon, like her parents, but her grandparents are from the Portuguese countryside. His dearest grandmother gave him the sense of belonging and the passion for Portuguese traditions that she now brings to Singulartrips tours and experiences. Proud to be Portuguese, she has one goal: The world to discover and fall in love with Portugal. Her specialties are luxury holiday programs focusing on gastronomy and wine, as they are a very important part of Portuguese culture. She has a degree in Marketing Management, has the WSET 1 level and is currently studying Cheese and Olive Oil, with projects around these themes that she loves deeply. The woman who dreamed and created Singulartrips.
Alexandra was born on Madeira Island and loves everything that connects her to her roots, the smells, the flavors, the sea, the mountains and nature. At a young age, together with her father, sisters and brothers, she was involved in the Madeira Wine harvest. With her mother she learned to cook delicious and traditional dishes and with her father to climb the mountains. From a very young age, she interacted with tourists, giving tips on trails and what to see on her island and then throughout the country. Her passion for traveling and getting to know the culture of others leads her to what she likes most: designing unique trips and itineraries that allow you to immerse yourself in the Portuguese cultural heritage, whether through walks in the middle of the forest or a glass of wine by the sea.
