ALGARVE’S TRADITIONAL SWEETS WORKSHOP WITH THE CHEF
The little colored cakes of massapão (marzipan) are the most well-known sweets in the Algarve.
If you've passed here you know that it is common to find them on sale in cafes and supermarkets, a little throughout the Region, small cakes made in the form of fruits, animals or objects.
In this cooking class, the participants are challenged by the Algarve’s pastry Chef to design, shape and paint these marzipan cakes that they can take with them.
After the hand-in-the-dough activity, a snack will be served on the spot, consisting of sandwiches, juices and fruit.
